LacTec was founded in 1986 in Rodgau near Frankfurt am Main.
The company's development has been marked by a pattern of continuous
growth since its early days. LacTec is now represented on
almost every continent – with new international representations
added every year.

LacTec
has succeeded in gaining a solid footing among the leading suppliers
of automatic electrostatic painting systems to the automotive engineering
industry. Since its foundation, LacTec has specialized in the
development and design of electrostatic painting systems for large-series
production as well as customer-specific solutions for non-standard
requirements. In Germany, LacTec is counted among the top few
cutting-edge suppliers. The company headquarters in Rodgau accommodates
the technical development, sales, engineering and servicing departments,
with a workforce of over sixty – the majority made up of highly
qualified engineers and technicians. In addition, LacTec subcontracts
to a number of suppliers in the Frankfurt area for the production
of components, design of its control units and the development of
plant-specific software. LacTec ploughs over 5% of its turnover
back into research and development.
The central location
of LacTec at the heart of Europe guarantees fast, efficient
customer support. This factor is of particular importance to the automotive
engineering industry. Alongside a sales office in Dresden, the company
has also run its own subsidiary, LacTec SARL, in Paris since
1991. LacTec is also represented by qualified specialist companies
